What to Expect on the Day of CO2LIFT Treatment

Your CO2LIFT treatment lasts about 45 minutes to one hour as an outpatient procedure in our San Diego office. The session begins with gentle cleansing to prepare the skin, followed by application of the CO2LIFT mask. Once applied, the mask remains on the skin for approximately 45 minutes, during which carbon dioxide activates oxygen-rich blood flow beneath the surface. Patients usually experience a calming, cooling, and soothing sensation. The entire process is painless and deeply relaxing. 

After the mask is removed, your skin may appear noticeably plumper, brighter, smoother, and more hydrated immediately. A sunscreen is applied to protect your refreshed complexion, and you may return to normal activities right away.

Your Guide to Post-CO2LIFT Care

One of the biggest advantages of the CO2LIFT is the minimal recovery time, as most patients experience an instant glow. You can resume daily activities immediately following treatment.

When used after aesthetic procedures, the CO2LIFT can significantly reduce inflammation and speed healing. We may recommend multiple sessions or periodic maintenance treatments, depending on your skincare goals. With consistent treatments, patients often enjoy improved skin tone, enhanced hydration, smoother texture, and long-lasting radiance. Most surgical patients benefit from 3 post-surgery treatments to aid healing. In patients with poor skin quality, 3 treatments prior to surgery and 3 treatments after surgery are beneficial for surgical healing.
